Discovery Schools to Hold Annual Swamp Fest 

Popular event expanded to three days with rides, games, food and live music by The Mixed Nuts, Topcats and Sugar Shaker


Discovery Schools is excited to announce this year’s annual Swamp Fest, to be held on Friday, November 8, 6 - 10 PM, Saturday, November 9, Noon to 10 PM, and Sunday, November 10, Noon to 8 PM at 3837 Loyola Drive, Kenner, LA. Entry is free; however, guests must purchase tickets for the amusement rides and games. The event will feature ten rides, dozens of games, a vast array of food vendors, and live music.


“Due to popular demand, Swamp Fest has been expanded this year to three days,” said Discovery Schools CEO Patty Glaser. “We invite the community to join us for an unforgettable experience with thrilling rides, games, food, and amazing music.”


Swamp Fest will spotlight local talent, with three amazing bands performing each night. On Friday, November 8th, get ready to jam with The Mixed Nuts at 7:30 PM. On Saturday, November 9th, The Topcats will rock the stage at 6:30 PM, and on Sunday, November 10th, experience the sound of Sugar Shaker at 5:30 PM.


Delight your taste buds with a mouthwatering food vendor lineup, including Pop Bar, Nori Guys, Wolf Truck Burgers, Sunset Slush, Cochon King, Waska, Don Cruz, Crazy Johnnie’s, Copelands, and JJ Chicken. In support of our food vendors and beverage booths, outside food and beverages will not be allowed. 


With over a dozen game booths and ten exhilarating rides, there is something for everyone! The rides are separated into two areas to ensure an excellent experience for older and younger kids.
