UKRAINIAN MUSICIANS AND SOLIDERS SHARE WITH NOMMA CADETS

 

WHEN: Wed., Oct. 23, 9  to 10 a.m.

WHERE: NOMMA Fitness Center Gym, 2220 Constitution St. in Federal City, Algiers

WHAT: A morning of cultural exchange between musicians of Ukraine and experienced soliders with NOMMA band and cadets, including playing of national anthems, a shared band performance, and Q&A with soliders and cadets; includes Olympic Champion Skater Oksana Baiul and former NOLA Councilman Arnie Fielkow

 

ANNUAL NOMMA CAREER DAY

 

WHEN: Thurs., Oct. 24, 9 to 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: NOMMA Fitness Center Gym, 2220 Constitution St. in Federal City, Algiers.
WHAT: The 8-12 high school will hold its annual College and Career Fair for sophmores, juniors and seniors with more than 50 representatives from colleges, the armed services, national and local employers. Many hands-on demonstrations too!
