Warren Easton Charter High School to Host Open House for Prospective Students and Families on October 23


NEW ORLEANS, LA – Warren Easton Charter High School invites prospective students and their families to attend its Open House on Wednesday, October 23 at 5:00 p.m. The event will take place at Warren Easton’s Ninth Grade Academy, located at 3030 Canal Street. During the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school and its facilities, meet with teachers and current students, and learn more about the exceptional academic and extracurricular programs Warren Easton offers.


Warren Easton is proud to showcase its groundbreaking Ninth Grade Academy, which is situated directly across the street from the original 110-year-old building that now houses grades 10-12. This expansion allowed Warren Easton’s in-demand, A-rated program to provide 100 additional spots for students, supporting the school’s ongoing mission to serve more of New Orleans’ youth with a high-quality education.


As the oldest public high school in Louisiana, Warren Easton boasts a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, with a consistent 100% graduation rate. Warren Easton provides a rigorous and relevant curriculum featuring a variety of gifted, honors, and AP courses, as well as a model career and technical education (CTE) program.


In addition to its academic achievements, Warren Easton is known for its outstanding athletic and extracurricular programs. The school’s football, track and field, girls’ basketball, and band programs have won numerous top rankings, awards, and championships across Louisiana. These achievements reflect Warren Easton’s commitment to a whole child educational approach, ensuring that students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.


Warren Easton also provides essential student services, including a free on-site health clinic and free vision services, supporting the well-being of every student.
