Lake Forest Charter School Ranks 5th Among Louisiana K-8 Schools and 1st in Orleans Parish  for School Performance Scores (SPS)

November 20, 2024 – New Orleans, LA – Lake Forest Elementary Charter School proudly announces its outstanding achievement in the 2023-2024 School Performance Scores (SPS), as released by the Louisiana Department of Education.

Lake Forest has been recognized as the 5th highest-scoring K-8 school in Louisiana and the highest-scoring K-8 school in Orleans Parish. The school’s SPS rose by 3.1 points this year to a remarkable score of 118, securing an "A" rating. Additionally, Lake Forest achieved substantial growth in key academic areas, increasing its Assessment Index by 3.5 points (earning 113.4 points, "A") and its Progress Index by 3.8 points (earning 118.8 points, "A"). The school has also been honored as a "Top Gains Honoree" for its exceptional progress.
