 The 2024 PARADE SCHEDULE FOR THE NEW ORLEANS MILITARY AND MARITIME ACADEMY MARCHING BAND
 

         The New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy (NOMMA) Marching Band, made up of the 8-12 grade cadets attending this metro-area, top-performing public high school in Federal City, will be featured at five official parades this Mardi Gras Season.

         NOMMA’s band was invited by Senator Bill Cassidy to be featured in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC last year.

         The band, led by Director Kevin Fedelem, will march as follows:
   
   - Sat., Jan. 27, Algiers Mardi Gras Festival Parade;    

   - Friday, Feb. 2, Excalibur Parade in Metairie;    

   - Sunday, Feb. 4, King Arthur on the traditional Uptown route;    

   - Sat., Feb. 10, Krewe of Algiers; and 
   - Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Feb. 13, for the Krewe of Rex.
         NOMMA’s ban will also join the Krewe of Harriet Tubman Charter for an in-school parade on Thursday, Feb. 8. For more information, contact Principal Alexis Long at (504) 227-3810.
