Lake Forest Charter Students Selected for the 2025 Louisiana All-State Middle School String Orchestra

Lake Forest Charter School is proud to announce that two of its students have been selected to participate in the prestigious 2025 Louisiana All-State Middle School String Orchestra, organized by the Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA). Eighth-grader Riley Bruton (Violin I) and seventh-grader Andy Trinh (Viola) earned their spots after excelling in a highly competitive audition process.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Riley and Andy’s incredible achievements,” said Mardele Early, Founding CEO of Lake Forest Charter. “Their selection highlights the exceptional talent of our students, who excel not only academically but also in the arts. We are excited to see them shine on such a remarkable stage.”

The 2025 Louisiana All-State Middle School String Orchestra will take place January 16–18, 2025, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside as part of the LMEA’s annual conference. Riley and Andy will join a select group of middle school musicians from across Louisiana to perform under the guidance of distinguished conductors. Their achievement reflects their dedication, skill, and passion for music.
