Warren Easton Charter High School to hold Open House for prospective students on November 8

 

Warren Easton Charter High School will hold an Open House for prospective students and their parents on Wednesday, November 8, 5 p.m. at the school at 3019 Canal St. in the auditorium.  Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school and campus and meet teachers and students.

 

Warren Easton recently opened its new Ninth Grade Academy located directly across the street from Warren Easton Charter High School’s original 110-year-old building, which will now house only grades 10-12, giving Easton’s in-demand, A-rated program the ability to provide 100 more spots for students.

 

The oldest public high school in Louisiana, Warren Easton is an “A” rated, open enrollment high school with a consistent 100% graduation rate. Designated a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School, Warren Easton offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum with numerous gifted, honors and AP courses, as well as a model career technical educational program. Warren Easton’s football, flag football, girls’ basketball, and band programs have all won top rankings, awards, and championships in the state of Louisiana and support the school’s whole child educational approach.   Warren Easton provides a free on-site health clinic for all students, and free vision services as well.
