Lake Forest Charter School Annual Cocktails and Blues GalaSat., Oct. 14, Messina's at the Terminal,  6001 Stars and Stripes Blvd. Patron Party at 6 p.m.; Gala at 7 p.m. Individual tickets are $75.
Ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the #1 Charter Elementary school in the state of Louisiana, Lake Forest will dedicate the proceeds from the annual fundraiser to the construction of a state-of-the-art Outdoor Recreation Complex, which would allow students to develop athletic as well as academic skills which could lead to college scholarships.
