[CharterSchools] NOMMA and Camellia Read Beans

More than 800 cadets in grades 8-12 at New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy welcomed Councilman Freddie King and the folks from Camellia Red Beans on the celebration of 100 years of red beans and rice for the traditional Monday meal in Louisiana. The feasting began at 10:30 a.m. and lasted for several hours until all staff and cadets had their fill.     Special Projects for District D Director Eleanor Gaudin, NOMMA Principal Alexis Long, Councilman Freddie King, Camellia Beans Marketing Director Richard Rees, NOMMA Director of Operations George Jacobs, and Camellia Beans Representative Aileen Nethery kicked things off at 10:30 am!
    NOMMA Cadets did the hard work and enjoyed Red Beans and Rice until they had their fill!
