New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy Holds  Final Enrollment Open Houses for Prospective Students    Wednesdays, Jan. 11 and 18: 6 pm 100% student body participation in Marine Corps Junior ROTC  A designated Naval Honor School   The New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy (NOMMA), an open admissions public charter school adjacent to the Marine Forces Reserve national headquarters in Federal City, invites prospective students and families in grades 8-12 for the 2023-24 school year to two final Open Houses on Wednesdays, Jan 11 and 18.   Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6 p.m. promptly. (Doors will be closed at 6 p.m).  The Open Houses will be held at the NOMMA Auditorium in Federal City, 425 O’Bannon St., New Orleans, LA, 70114.   Any interested parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must attend an open house with their prospective student to be eligible to apply. Parent identification is required. A Spanish presentation will be available. NOMMA is open to all students in the Greater New Orleans metro area. Any Orleans Parish student can apply for 8-11 grade at NOMMA through the NOLA-PS Common Application Process (NCAP) at  enrollnolaps.com with priority given to military dependents.  New student admittance to 12thgrade is only authorized for relocating military families.
