New Orleans Public Schools Call for Citywide Support 

for Safety of Students in Mardi Gras Parades


 

 
WHEN:      Thursday, Feb. 9, 10 a.m.

WHERE:        Sophie B. Wright High, 1426 Napoleon Ave.

WHAT: As schools across New Orleans prepare their marching bands, color guards, twirlers and majorettes to participate in Mardi Gras parades the safety and wellbeing of their students is at the top of their mind.  School leaders, community leaders, students, and parents will discuss security, best practices related to safety and other important points of information related to student safety this Mardi Gras season.
