Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, 17225 S. Harrells Ferry Rd, is part of the high-demand, award-winning Discovery Schools public charter school network in partnership with Ochsner Health and seeking new students in grades Pre-K through 4th, announced Founding CEO Patty Glaser. 

 

All Louisiana residents are eligible to apply. To begin a new student registration, you must submit an application online: https://discoveryapplication.com/login.

In addition to a robust academic program, the school offers bus service and after school programs to families. As required by State law, all children registering for Pre-Kindergarten must be four years old on or before September 30, 2023. All children registering for Kindergarten must be five years old on or before September 30, 2023. 


Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery is operated by Discovery Schools charter management organization with three schools in Louisiana and serving over 3,000 students. Dr. John Ochsner Discovery is ranked as the highest performing open enrollment school in Jefferson Parish. Kenner Discovery is ranked third.
