November Open House Dates for Prospective Students

The New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy (NOMMA), a consistently high-performing, open admissions public charter school adjacent to the Marine Forces Reserve national headquarters in Federal City, invites prospective students and families in grades 8-11 for the 2023-24 school year to an Open House on Wednesday, November 2, or Wednesday, November 16.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6:00 p.m. Doors will be closed at 6:00 p.m. with no late admittance, so please arrive promptly. 

The Open Houses will be held at NOMMA, located at 425 O'Bannon St. in Algiers.

Prospective students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to register in advance to reserve their Open House date using the Interest Form (Spanish Version). Limited registration is available at the door on a first come, first served basis. Any interested parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must attend an Open House with their prospective student in order to be eligible to apply. Parent identification is required. 

NOMMA is open to students from all parishes.  Any student can apply for grades 8 - 11 at NOMMA through the NOLA-PS Common Application Process (NCAP) at  enrollnolaps.com with priority given to military dependents.  New student admittance to 12th grade is only authorized for relocating military families.  For more information, please email registration at nomma.net, call (504) 227-3810, or go to https://nomma.net/Admissions.
