  Robert Russa Moton Charter School to Hold Open Houses in October & November Robert Russa Moton will hold open houses for prospective students in grades PK4-8 on the following dates: Thursday, October 13 at 10am; Thursday, October 27 at 4pm and Thursday, November 10 at 10am. The open houses will take place at the school at 8550 Curran Blvd. in New Orleans East.    Robert Russa Moton Charter School encourages students to be lifelong learners by creating a learning environment that fosters curiosity, bravery, confidence and kindness.  Moton is a “School of Opportunity” where communication and strong parental involvement are key. Moton embraces collaborative learning by listening to students and families and creating multiple learning opportunities for its students.   Moton is an open-admissions public charter school serving students in Orleans Parish in grades PK4-8.
