NOMMA Cadets enjoy a little down time
All 8-12 graders at New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy, the only charter school in Louisiana which admits all students as active members of the Junior ROTC, study and work hard...but also get some down time. While manning an information booth about their charter high school open to students from all metro New Orleans parishes and giving a special outreach to military families in the area, cadets enjoyed--and learned from--the Blue Angel pilots and support teams at the recent Air Show held in Belle Chasse. 
But for some juniors and seniors, the upcoming NOMMA prom on April 2 at the New Orleans Ladies Ballroom is on their minds, and certainly made a lot more exciting by the dresses they chose from among 250 gowns donated by the Krewe of Cleopatra. More than 50 cadets participated in the gown giveaway and walked away with happy results as shown by NOMMA Seniors, l., Josselin Zelaya and Daniele De Oliveira.
