Our first two weeks of school have been sensational. It's wonderful to see our students engaged daily in high quality instruction, the arts, and opportunities for socialization with their peers. I could not be more proud of the work that is occurring across each of our campuses. 
This year brings a renewed focus in a variety of areas, including academics, arts, and family engagement. Our faculty worked diligently to prepare for new initiatives in literacy and math instruction, Audubon Gentilly revamped its arts programming to provide greater opportunities for enrichment, and our school leaders are hard at work planning a variety of family engagement events that will further strengthen our school community. 
Our school facilities look outstanding. With the addition of the Live Oak building for our Upper School and a facelift to the Audubon Gentilly campus, our students are learning each day in classrooms and spaces that are both beautiful and inspiring.  I've enjoyed seeing so many families in our schools the last few weeks. I'd also like to encourage all families to attend Back to School Night for our Live Oak campus on August 30th, Back to School Night for our Broadway campus on August 31st, and Back to School Movie Night at Audubon Gentilly on September 1st.
