WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH: Ashley Daniels Takes Over at Einstein Charter Schools




Ashley Daniels-Hall is the Interim Chief Executive Officer. Before serving students in her currentposition, she served as the district Chief Instructional Officer. Additionally, Ashley has served asprincipal, instructional coach and teacher at Einstein Sherwood Forest, and assistant principal atEinstein Village de l’Est. While there, she developed a data driven curriculum, implementedcollaborative content-based professional development, and facilitated transformative facultycoaching—wedding these strategies to bolster school and district-wide academic initiatives. In the2017-18 school year, she served Renew Accelerated High School students as their Director ofCurriculum and Instruction, increasing student achievement and engagement by 30 and 60percent, respectively. Ashley’s zeal for education lies in seeing underserved students of colorattain, achieve, and advance. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University ofNew Orleans, completing their Special Education and 1- 5: Elementary Education programs; andalso earned a Master’s of Administration in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.Ashley is a native New Orleanian, raised in New Orleans East, committed to serving the NewOrleans East community.
