| Kenilworth ranks third in this year’s regional science fairFirst among open enrollment schools |

| Kenilworth Science and Technology School  ranked third in the 2021 Louisiana Region VII Science and Engineering Fair Junior Division. KST students received nine awards, making them the highest ranked open enrollment school of the competition. 
“This pandemic presents its own set of unique challenges,” says Hazel Regis, Principal of Kenilworth Science and Technology School. “Despite the struggles of COVID-19, the regional science fair was a great success. This is a direct testament to the dedication and hard work of our students and teachers.”
The event was held in February virtually at Louisiana State University. Winners include Dajah Taylor and Quinton Corbin, who earned second place awards for their projects in Biochemistry, Physics and Astronomy categories. Third place was awarded to Haley Jackson and Josalyn Green for Animal Sciences, Robotics and Intelligent Machinery. Fourth place winners are Victor Portillo, Taisa Smith, and Gabrielle Pilzner. Pranay Vijay and Breelan Corbin received honorable mentions. 
Kenilworth, a Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) school has consistently shown growth over the past twelve years. As a non-magnet school servicing East Baton Rouge, KST prides themselves on their ability to enrich the minds of their students in all areas, while promoting a guaranteed and viable STEM curriculum. 

Kenilworth Science and Technology is a non-tuition open enrollment STEM school servicing East Baton Rouge Parish dedicated to maintaining a tradition of excellence for years to come.
