|  “Our society,” said Nicole Saulny, the Head of Esperanza Charter Schools, “is as strong as its education system. That is what we are trying to build—the educational system of this great city that we live in.”For the past year, Saulny and eight of her fellow school and single-site charter management organization leaders from across New Orleans have been building it together. As the first class of New Schools for New Orleans’ Executive Education Experience (E3) Fellows, these educators have gathered to share best practices and prepare for roles in executive leadership in our city’s charter networks. They received individual coaching, core sessions with national education leaders, and a four-day retreat. Their fellowship will continue this year, and include a national site visit, if health conditions allow.Now, the E3 Fellowship is seeking the next class of Fellows. We are seeking passionate, diverse leaders. Particularly, the E3 Fellowship has a strong commitment to recruit and develop leaders of color.   |

|  Applicants must:    
   -  Be current high-performing principals or network leaders in New Orleans 
   -  Desire to be a CEO or executive of a charter management organization in the near future 
   -  Demonstrate a long term commitment to educational leadership in New Orleans 
   -  Have a deep desire to lead equitable schools and diverse school teams

|  If selected, fellows will receive two years of fellowship coaching, collaboration, and learning. The fellowship is highly selective; this year, we expect to choose eight to ten leaders.Fellows will apply their experiences and expertise to learning to lead our city’s charter organizations. They’ll commit to participating in:   
   -  Monthly executive cohort sessions 
   -  360 feedback and personalized development plans 
   -  Executive leadership coaching 
   -  A national charter site visit and retreat (structure pending COVID-19 safety status) 
The E3 team conducted national research to discover what makes a strong charter executive. By engaging in these activities, fellows will develop the skills and strengths they need to be those powerful leaders.   |
