Lusher Student Finalist in Doodle for Google ContestVote for Morrah! Senior Morrah Burton-Edwards one of 54 artist finalists
Lusher Charter School Senior Morrah Burton-Edwards is a finalist for the national Doodle for Google competition. She is the Louisiana state winner for Grades 10-12 and one of 54 artists across the country who were chosen for their artwork in the contest,  themed I Show Kindness By. The five national finalists will be chosen by a public vote; voters can view and vote for Morrah from August 17 through August 21 here:  https://doodles.google.com/d4g/  (10-12 category / Louisiana).    If chosen as a top 5 finalist she will be eligible to compete for the top prize of a $30,000 scholarship and the National Winner’s artwork will be displayed on Google.com for one day.
Doodle for Google is an annual contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google Doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools.
Morrah was also the winner of the 2020 Muses Mardi Gras design cup contest,  She is a CAVA (Certificate of Artistry in Visual Arts) student at Lusher and also works with local artist BMike at his studio.
