JOB FAIR SEEKS LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO HELP FORMER TP EMPLOYEES
When:     Friday, May 31, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.Where:    International House Hotel EVENT Space, 221 Camp St.Why:       The Knight Foundation, a national journalism funding organization, and other employers are trying to help 165 employees of the now-defunct Times Picayune/nola.com find transitional employment.

This is a job fair ONLY for the 165 employees of The Times-Picayune: 61 journalists in the newsroom and more than 100 others who make a news operation possible. They will be unemployed as of June 1. 

The job fair seeks to connect these former TP employees to job openings. Many of these individuals have digital-first skills and/or wide-ranging talents in sales, marketing, design, administration, management and more.
