NOMMA OPEN HOUSE Wednesday, April 10, for parents and students of all grades 8-12 for 2019-2020 school year. Open to all students in Greater New Orleans metro area. Register starting at 5:15 pm; Meeting begins promptly at 6 pm. Location: NOMMA Annex, 501 O'Bannon, Suite 101. Entrance is located on Heerman Street at rear of Annex. Parking is available in lots across from the main entrance of the school, 425 O'Bannon. For information call (504) 227-3810.

New Orleans Military and Maritine Academy, a 8-12 grade public charter school located on the Marine Forces Reserve national headquarters in Federal City, Algiers is making a special appeal to active military-duty parents of middle and high school eligible students to also enroll now in this high quality academic program that has 100 percent student body participation in Junior ROTC.  “Our diverse and talented cadet corps is taught by retired Marine Instructors and Civilian Teachers, who offer caring mentorship to enable our cadets to achieve their academic and personal potential,” said Commandant MC Retired Colonel Chris Schlafer. “No other public school offers this rigorous college preparatory curriculum, tailored for the future solider.
