U.S. Navy Talent Recruiters will be at New Orleans Military Maritime Academy to meet and greet Students in the 9th-11th grade. Recruiters will be available to speak about college opportunities, financial aid, as well as service opportunities on Tuesday, 4/9/2019, from 9:00 to 12:00, and again on Wednesday, 4/10/2019, from 7:30 to 1:30. Recruiters will be available to talk with cadets during lunch periods. New Orleans Military and Maritine Academy is a 8-12 grade open admissions public charter school located on the Marine Forces Reserve national headquarters in Federal City, Algiers. All students in its high quality academic program participate in Junior ROTC. Students may use enrollnola.org to apply to the school. “Our diverse and talented cadet corps is taught by retired Marine Instructors and Civilian Teachers, who offer caring mentorship to enable our cadets to achieve their academic and personal potential,” said Commandant MC Retired Colonel Chris Schlafer. “No other public school offers this rigorous college preparatory curriculum, tailored for the future solider.
