McDonald, Jr. at 6th Annual “Cocktails and Blues” Benefit on Sept. 29 Lake Forest Charter School will host the 6th Annual Cocktails & Blues Gala on Saturday, September 29, at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport Terminal, 6001 Stars & Stripes Blvd. The Patron Party begins at 6pm and the Gala and Silent Auction at 8pm.  The evening, sponsored by Liberty Bank & Trust, will raise critical dollars to support its programs and the construction of its new Outdoor Recreation Complex, which will enhance its students’ exposure to non-traditional recreational/sports activities. This year’s Gala will honor Liberty Bank & Trust’s Alden McDonald, Jr. “Alden J. McDonald Jr. changed the face of banking in New Orleans and the South.  We are so thankful for his continuous support of Lake Forest Charter School. There is no doubt in my mind he exemplifies the spirit of Eagles we build here, a spirit of perseverance and excellent achievement,” said Ms. Early.The annual Cocktails & Blues Gala for Lake Forest is traditionally a sell-out activity, and CEO Early anticipates that will be repeated again this year. At the Gala, the evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6 pm for VIP Patrons with an elegant dinner catered by Messina's Catering and entertainment by T-Ray the Violinist. At 8 pm, the general admission gala and silent auction begins with entertainment by DJ Captain Charles and hors d'oeuvres by Messina’s Catering."Liberty Bank is proud to support the Cocktails & Blues Gala and Lake Forest Charter School again this year." said Alden J. McDonald, Jr., Liberty Bank & Trust, President and CEO.            The ticket price for the VIP Patron Reception & Dinner is $150 per person.
