  International High School of New Orleans tohost Open Houses for prospective students**October 25 Open House rescheduled to Nov. 8 dueto weather** International High School of New Orleans(IHSNO), a public charter school open to all Louisiana residents with a strongemphasis on world languages and an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, willhold two Open Houses for prospective students in grades 9-12 on Thursday, November8, 2018 from 5:30-7:30pm and Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at theschool, 727 Carondelet St. in New Orleans.  

The first Open House was originally scheduled for Thursday, October 25 but isnow rescheduled to Thursday, November 8 due to expected weather.
Prospective parents can still register for the Open Houses online at  http://www.ihsnola.org/fall-open-house/. The International High School of New Orleans(IHSNO) is a high performing, open enrollment, public charter school open tostudents throughout Louisiana in grades 9-12. IHSNO is the only high school in New Orleans offering students theopportunity to participate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP). The IBDP is recognized and respected by the world’s leadinguniversities for its ability to encourage students to think broadly, beyond theboundaries of their communities, and to develop the intellectual, personal,emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a global economy.Students in the IBDP are more likely to get university acceptance, qualify forscholarships, and succeed in their post-secondary educational endeavors.Through the IBDP, IHSNO students gain excellent breadth and depth of knowledge,excel in their academic subjects, and thrive intellectually, emotionally andethically. IHSNO received “The Best Kept Secret”award from the Downtown Development District of New Orleans. IHSNO accepts applications from Louisianaresidents statewide.  In Orleans Parish, IHSNO participates in the OneAppsystem for applications. Regardless of the parish of residence, all studentsshould be assigned through the OneApp process.
