Celebrating a Successful Summer 2017 Internship Program!




YouthForce Internship (YFI), a collaboration between Educate Now! and The City of New Orleans, is thrilled to announce a successful summer scale up, serving over 140 students, and partnering with over 70 employers and 13 high schools. 











YFI provides 60 hours of paid soft skills and business etiquette training followed by 90 hours of paid work experience with a local employer to rising seniors from thirteen partner high schools. Students are placed with employers in one of three high-wage, high-demand fields: health sciences, digital media/IT, and skilled crafts.





Having served 61 students and partnered with 34 employers in summer 2016, this summer's successful growth demonstrates a demand for programs that prepare our local graduates for our city's growing industries. 


We would like to take this opportunity to thank our employer and school partners and congratulate our YFI students on the successful completion of their internships!
