Author T.A. Barron will be at Octavia Books discussing Atlantis Lost, the third installment in his Atlantis saga, recommended for readers ages 8-12 (Tue, Nov 15, 4pm).  
Bayou Sports Club is holding tryouts for 14yo and older Volleyball teams!  Players and parents select practice days and tournaments.(Tue, Nov 15 and Thu, Nov 17, 6pm to 7:30pm at St. Paul's Episcopal School)
Elevate Next is offering a Thanksgiving one-day camp for athletes in Grades 2-8 interested in improving their basketball skills.  Registration required, Space is limited.  (Wed, Nov 23, 9am to 3pm)
Looking for an outdoor excursion for your K-8 class, youth group, or after school program?   Lafitte Greenway Explorers program uses the Greenway as a classroom and a playground to inspire and empower kids to become the next generation of environmental stewards.  Classes align with Louisiana GLEs and Next Generation Science Standards!
