Lusher Charter School Certificate of Artistry Dancers Accepted 
into Prestigious Summer Dance Programs

Congratulations to the following Lusher Certificate of Artistry (CA) Dancers for their acceptances into several prestigious summer dance programs! 9th grader Sara Radka will be attending the American Ballet Theater's Summer Intensive in Austin, TX as one of only 190 students selected nation-wide.  Sara was also accepted into the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts' Summer Intensive in Torrington, CT.









Celeste Jupiter (10th grade) and Scarlett Mitchell-Yang (8th grade) are attending the Dance Theater of Harlem Summer Intensive in NY, NY.


Lusher Charter School’s Certificate of Artistry in Dance is a four year program that offers classes in contemporary and ballet techniques and exposes students to composition, improvisation and fitness.  Students participate in daily technique classes and repertory rehearsals in preparation for the annual spring dance concert.  Over the course of four years, the dance department prepares the students to self direct their final "senior piece" to earn their Certificate of Artistry.
