Jerry P. Foxworth Memorial Early Childhood Wing 
in Honor of BelovedTeacher
 
WHAT:    Morris Jeff Community School is dedicating the EarlyChildhood Wing in Honor/Memory of Jerry P. Foxworth, a lifelong teacher andinspiration at MJCS.
WHEN:    Friday, June 10, 2016 8:00 a.m.

WHY:       Since her passing on January 29, 2014, the Morris Jeff community has mourned the loss of a beloved and remarkable teacher and friend, Mrs. Jerry Powell Foxworth. Jerry loved to inspire young, inquiring minds and was a mentor to her colleagues. Named “Teacher of the Year” twice, her passion and influence were undeniable.  Jerry was a kind and graceful educator -- calm in disposition yet unwavering in her conviction to educate and mentor. 
Although the pain of her loss will continue throughout the MJCS community, in her memory, MJCS will christen the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten hallway of Morris Jeff Community School the Jerry P. Foxworth Memorial Early Childhood Wing.
