CERTIFIED TEACHERS: REGISTER NOW, POST RESUME FOR
10TH ANNUAL NEW ORLEANS CHARTER SCHOOLS TEACHER FAIR

EVENT TAKES PLACE MARCH 12 AT HYNES CHARTER SCHOOL

Teachers can register, review charter school vacancies and/or post resumes NOW online at gnocollaborative.com

Certified teachers are invited to join the New Orleans charter school movement at the 10th annual New Orleans Charter Schools Teacher Fair, Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hynes Charter School Gym, 990 Harrison Ave.
“Full and part-time positions are available for certified teachers and those who will be certified by May, 2016,” said Greater New Orleans Collaborative of Charter Schools President Alexina Medley.
Interested teachers are encouraged to register online at www.gnocollaborative.com by March 6. Candidates who pre-register by March 6 will have exclusive access to hiring schools for the first hour of the event, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., but are required to bring a copy of their Event Brite ticket for early admission. Additionally, pre-registrants will have the option to have their resumes posted for all charter school leaders to review on the GNOCCS website.
Walk-ins are welcome from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and should bring sufficient printed copies of their resume.
“Principals and administrators will conduct on-site screening interviews at the Teacher Fair and share information about the benefits of working at their charter schools,” said GNOCCS Director Dr. Ken Ducote. “Teachers and aspiring teachers should bring multiple copies of their resumes, teaching certificates, references and any other relevant information for immediate consideration.”
The fair is sponsored by the GNOCCS with support from New Schools New Orleans, School Leadership Center (SLC) of Greater New Orleans, Adams and Reese LLP, Baptist Community Ministries, and the Pro Bono Publico Foundation.
Charter schools from across Louisiana are invited to participate and interview candidates at this free event. There is room for nearly 60 schools to participate, but tables must be reserved as soon as possible since space is limited.
Regularly updated charter school vacancy listings are available online at www.gnocollaborative.com.
