Support Increased Funding for Early Care and Education in Louisiana

This is your opportunity to support an issue that is critical to you and the young children of our state - the need for increased funding for early care and education in Louisiana!


The October installment of Louisiana Public Square is called "Funding the Future: Early Childhood Opportunities." The panel discussion will be filmed in New Orleans and will focus entirely on early childhood care and education in Louisiana.

THREE ways you can participate:



Register Now to attend the taping on October 20 at 7:00 pm 

Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2015 
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 pm - Doors open at 6:00 pm and close at 7:00 pm.
Location: NOCCA Auditorium, 2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans

The taping is open to the public, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and show their support, but registration is required.

Share your views about early care and education before the taping by taking the survey on this topic


Results from the survey will be reported on as part of the program.

Host a Viewing Party to watch the show when it airs October 21 at 7:00 pm

Viewing Parties are a great way to familiarize yourself and others with the state policy and data associated with increased investment in Early Childhood Education (ECE) programming and to plan for upcoming activities. Find all the tools and resources you need to host a successful Viewing Party in Ready Louisiana's Viewing Party Guide.

The show will be broadcast on LPB HD and in New Orleans on WLAE-TV.
