             Young Audiences Charter School (YACS) Festival this Saturday                                               
            
                                                    
                        Bring your family along to come celebrate!                                   
            
                          
             What:                          
            
             Join Young Audiences Charter School as it holds the second annual YACS Fest!                              
                The festival is free and                                 along with a variety of entertainment, the festival offers a chance to engage with other community members in the Gretna area.                                
             
            
             When:                          
            
             Saturday, May 9th, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm             
            
                          
             Where:                          
            
             Young Audiences Charter School at Kate Middleton 
             
            
             1407 Virgil St             .              in Gretna             
            
                          
             Why:                          
            
             The festival will feature free and fun art workshops hosted by NRG Energy, art projects by artist Jamar Pierre and live performances by James Jordan and His Handsome Band, Caren Green, Richard Bates, Brotha T and of course our own Yac-sters: Band, Ballet, Drummers, Afro-Dancers & MORE! The festival is free though a donation of a hard cover book is suggested, with proceeds going to the YACS library.
