International High School Celebrates TET

Tết, or Vietnamese New Year, is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture, and it is celebrated on the first day of the year according to the lunar calendar.  This year, Vietnamese students and parents at International High School (coordinated by Ms. Luu and Ms. Causey)  celebrated this tradition by hosting their first Tết celebration to share their culture with the diverse student body at IHS. The event included lunch and gifts for the teachers, administrators, and staff members and an assembly with traditional Vietnamese dancing and Li Xi (lucky money in red envelopes) for the students.
