   Young Audiences to help open new Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center on Saturday; will offer free Babyarts Play! class  
   
   
   
   
      
   
   Broadmoor Improvement Association, in partnership with Young Audiences, Community Works, Play & Grow Studios, the Center for Restorative Approaches, Early Learning Focus, and the Blessed Trinity Church will host a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center  (3900 General Taylor Street) this Saturday, August 1.  Young Audiences of Louisiana recently moved its permanent office to the Broadmoor Center.  
   
      
   
   At 2pm, Young Audiences will hold a free Wolf Trap Babyarts! class for all infants and toddlers ages 1-3 years.  Instill a love for the arts for early learners through a guided, hands-on experience.  Young Audiences Wolf Trap teaching artists will present a workshop for parents, teachers, and caregivers and children.  Learn how to integrate music, movement, and drama into every day playtime to foster children’s developmental growth.    The ceremony will also include other recreations from various organizations such as Zumba and yoga classes, quilting demonstrations, and musical activities.  
   
      
   
   Refreshments, raffle prizes, and giveaways will also be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
