International High School of New Orleans will be holding anopen house for prospective students on Thursday, January 22nd the program willstart at 6 p.m. on the school’s campus located at 727 Carondelet St. in the NewOrleans Central Business District. 
 
International High School of New Orleans is anopen-enrollment public charter school for students in Louisiana in grades 9-12that offers both French and Spanish immersion and a world language program thatincludes Mandarin, Vietnamese and Arabic. Founded in 2009, IHS is the onlyschool in Orleans Parish to offer the International Baccalaureate DiplomaProgramme (IBDP), a curriculum with a reputation for its rigorous externalassessment with published global standards that focus on the development of astudents’ critical-thinking skills by engaging them intellectually,emotionally, and ethically. IHS offers dual-enrollment programs through the NewOrleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), Bard Early College Program, TheUniversity of New Orleans, and Delgado Community College.
