NEW ORLEANS, LA - On tomorrow, the New Orleans Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will donate three computer laboratories to New Orleans area schools, including: Edna Karr High School, St. Augustine High School, and Morris F.X. Jeff Community School. The three computer laboratories total over $60,000 in value.  In addition to the New Orleans Alumni Chapter, additional sponsors include Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s International Headquarters and Southwestern Province, as well as the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, and All Star Animal Clinic in New Orleans. The computer laboratory donations coincides with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s 82nd Grand Chapter Meeting (international conference) currently taking place this week in New Orleans, which is expected to draw over 10,000 delegates, members, and supporters.  
   
 
   
The donation of these Kappa Alpha Psi computer labs will include laptop computers, LEGGO ® MINDSTORMS ®, Education Design Engineering Projects robotics kits, curriculum developed by Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Academy, setup support services, and professional development training.
