Lake Forest Charter School student wins ribbon at Louisiana Science & Engineering Fair


Lake Forest Charter School 8th grade student Tyler Turner won 3rd place at the Louisiana Science & Engineering Fair in March in the environmental science category.  Tyler’s project was titled "Alternative Roofs" and studied the most cost effective and energy efficient ways of roofing.  His results found that grass covered roofs absorbed less energy than tile and wood.  Tyler is pictured here with his project (Photo 1) and award (Photo 2).
