InternationalHigh School of New Orleans to host Open House for prospective students this Wednesday

 
InternationalHigh School of New Orleans (IHS), Louisiana’s only open enrollment public charterschool to offer French and Spanish immersion programs and an IB diploma, willhold an Open House for prospective students in grades 9-12 on Wednesday,October 1, at 6:00 pm at the school, 727 Carondelet St. in New Orleans. 
 
TheInternational High School (IHS) of New Orleans is a high performing, openenrollment public charter school open to students throughout Louisiana ingrades 9-12.  The world languageprogram at IHS includes Spanish, French, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Arabiccourses. A full college preparatory curriculum is complemented by an authorizedInternational Baccalaureate Programme (IB) and Bard Dual Enrollment Courses. AnIB Diploma demonstrates student completion of a rigorous two-year academicprogram.  
 
SeanWilson was recently named as new CEO of the International High School of NewOrleans and just last year, IHS received “TheBest Kept Secret” award from the Downtown Development District of NewOrleans.
 
IHSaccepts applications from Louisiana residents statewide.  In Orleans Parish, IHS is participatingin the OneApp system for applications with the first application round beingNovember 3, 2014 to February 27, 2015.
