Health360, Interactive Wellness and Career Expo, Returns to Sci High
On the morning of Friday, November 21, Sci High will behosting its 2nd annual Health 360, an interactive fair that highlights physicaland emotional wellness, strategies for healthy living and careers in HealthCare and STEM fields. The event will take place at Sci High’s campus on 5625 Loyola Ave, New Orleans, LA.
The event, from 8am-noon, will consist of foursegments, providing every Sci High student with the opportunity to interactwith a panel of health care professionals, participate in group physicalactivities, attend two Wellness Workshops, and meet with three localprofessionals. The goal is for students to leaveHealth 360 with greater understanding of how to strive toward a life style ofholistic health and how their current academic course work relates to HealthCare and STEM careers.
Sci High will proudlywelcome over 50 of our community partners to this special event including LouisianaState University, LPHI, Mississippi River Delta Restoration Campaign, Rite Aid,Sodexo, Tulane University, Xavier Cancer Research Institute and the USDANational Finance Center at this special event.
