[CharterSchools] NOPD says no criminal act occurred at Lusher

STATEMENT FROM KATHY RIEDLINGER,CEO, LUSHER CHARTER SCHOOL:
 
“Wehave been informed by NOPD that no criminal event occurred on Lusher’s campusas previously reported by NOPD and the news media.  The allegation that a sexual assault of a student happenedon our campus has been proven not to be true.  No criminal incident occurred on Lusher’s campus.
 
"Thesafety and security of our campus was never compromised.  We continue to examine all aspects ofsafety policies and protocol, recognizing the safety of our students is our numberone priority.
 
Ourthoughts remain with this family as they deal with this serious issue.”
 


Lusher Charter Schoolwill not be making further comment on this incident.  Please call NOPD for details.
