[CharterSchools] TONIGHT: Raymond Allmon, Brian Riedlinger on Educating Louisiana

On tonight’sepisode of Educating Louisiana, hostand LAPCS Policy Director Veronica Brooks welcomes Stand for Children Baton Rouge Director Raymond Allmon and the CEO of the School Leadership Center of Greater New Orleans Dr. Brian Riedlinger. 


As a Baton Rouge native and LSU graduate, Raymond Allmon tells us why he decided to stay in Baton Rouge and get involved in improving public education. He also addresses what he thinks is the key to real academic growth in Louisiana, and the role charter schools have to play. 


Ever wonder what "reflective practice" really means in education, or what an "A-HA!" moment looks like? Dr. Brian Riedlinger explains this, and discusses the role he played in the reforms that took place in New Orleans following Katrina as Founder of the Algiers Charter School Association, tonight on Educating Louisiana.
