Louisiana Connections Academy still hasopen seats for K-12 but families should enroll this week
 
            LouisianaConnections Academy, a free public virtual charter school open to students fromevery parish of the state, has openings for students in all grades, K-12, butfamilies are encouraged to enroll this week since the first day of classes isMonday, August 11.
            “Ifyour child is not happy with their school assignment or if virtual schoolingwould help your student excel in the 2014-2015 school year, we would be happyto accommodate your child at our public school. Space is limited, so contact usnow,” said Student Outreach Coordinator Shelly Centanni. “Please visit ouronline events page and register for one of our upcoming events to learn moreabout Louisiana Connections Academy.”
    Information sessions are scheduled throughout the state and online. To find thesession nearest you or most convenient for your schedule, go to www.LouisianaConnectionsAcademy.com orcall the school at (225) 372-8389.
            LACAis a K-12 school where all instruction and classes occur online. Approximately1200 students were enrolled in the free public school last academic year.
