Just a reminder that the Hoby Action Legislature - a mock legislative session is slated for Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Louisiana State Capitol. This event is open to all high school and college students. I would like to personally thank Rep. Nancy Landry for promoting this event on Facebook and for offering some scholarships to her constituents.  Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. in the rotunda. Please encourage everyone to Come learn more about how the legislative process works.  Program commences in the house chambers at 9:00 a.m. and last until 3:00 p.m..  A tour of the house and senate chambers is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. for those who want to participate. Registration is $25..
