LAPCS, Pelican Institute: No TRSL mandate for charters
The Senate version of the bill mandating all charters join the Teacher Retirement System of Louisiana is scheduled to be heard by the Senate Retirement Committee this coming Monday, May 3rd, 1:00 p.m.



Eight Lusher students win gold and silver at National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards


Over 165,000 entries competed for the 1,300 national 2010 awards



"Food, Fun, and Family Festival" at Einstein May 22

The event will include a Talent Show featuring local performers as well as exceptional Einstein students  and music and food that reflects the cultural diversity of Einstein's community population



"We're Jazzed!" Spring Celebration and Fundraiser May 14

This special event will include a buffet dinner and a tribute to the 2010 school leaders who make a difference
