The East Bay Chapter of *Amigos de las Américas* will hold its annual
information meetings for prospective volunteers (Summer 2009 Projects in
Latin America) and their parents at the following locations:

Tues, Oct 7, 7:30pm: St. Peter's Church, 6013 Lawton Ave,Oakland
Wed, Oct 8, 7:30pm: St. Paul's Church, 1924 Trinity Ave,Walnut Creek
Thurs, Oct 9, 7:30pm: Spanish Speaking Citizens' Foundation, 1470
Fruitvale Ave, Oakland
Tues, Oct 14, 7:30pm: Stanley Middle School, 3455 School St, Lafayette
*Wed, Oct 15, 7:30pm: La Peña Cultural Center, 3105 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley
*Thurs, Oct 16, 7:30pm: Kaiser Hospital Richmond, 901 Nevin Ave, Richmond

Amigos de las Américas, an international nonprofit organization founded
in 1965, trains and provides opportunities for young people to
participate in service projects in Latin America. Volunteers must be at
least 16 years old by Sept 1, 2009 and have completed 2 years high
school Spanish or equivalent by June 2009. For more information, visit
