[BIHS] BIHS 9th grade picnic - August 23rd, 1 - 3 pm on the Berkeley High Campus Green

BIHS 9th-graders and parents - be sure to attend the BIHS introductory picnic!
We hope that you have had a happy and restful summer. To celebrate the beginning of our third year and to welcome the class of 2012, we invite you to join us on Saturday, August 23, for an informative but casual picnic.  It will be held on the BHS Campus Green (just north of the Donahue Gym and west of the swimming pool) between 1 and 3 p.m.  At that time we have planned activities that will help us to get to know each other and to give you a picture of what Berkeley International High School (BIHS) is all about. Parents will have the opportunity to learn how they can become involved with our Advisory Council and various program committees.
The picnic is a potluck, and the mailing that was sent out in late July let each family know whether they should bring finger foods/snacks or dessert.   Check your mailing to see your assignment.
 
We will also have available our BIHS t-shirts, in case you would like your student to have one.  They cost $15, and you can pay with either cash or a check.
