Our dear friend and church member Ruth Taylor went home to the Lord on
Saturday.

Ruth Taylor Bloomfield centenarian Ruth Taylor, 101, passed away on
Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Job Haines Home in Bloomfield, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the
O'Boyle Funeral Home, 209 Broad St., Bloomfield, on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment is private. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Please
express condolences at www.oboylefuneralhome.com. Born in East Orange,
N.J., Ruth lived in West Orange, N.J., and Bloomfield for the last 62
years. She was a quality control inspector for the U.S. Navy, working out
of the Thomas Edison Building in West Orange, during World War II. Ruth
was a former deacon at the Presbyterian Church on the Green, and member of
the Questors and Women's Fellowship. Ruth was the sister of the late
Dorothy and her husband, George Sr.; aunt of Rebecca, Danny, Mark,
William, and Kenneth; and great-aunt of Matthew and Jeanette O'Donnel, and
Christopher and Ryan Sr. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Salvation Army.
